Advertising measurement

Meta Pixel.

We use the Meta Pixel (pixel 823854330767329) to measure advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel loads on pages of this site and records a page view. On the careers page it also records that the page was viewed. When you click an Apply button for an internship, it records that you started an application.

A Lead event is sent to Meta only after an internship application is validated and saved. It is not sent when you click Submit, and it is not sent if the form is rejected. Refreshing the confirmation does not send the Lead again.

We also send that same Lead from our server through Meta’s Conversions API, so measurement still works when a browser blocks the pixel. The server event uses the same event id as the browser event so Meta can count it once. With that event we send your email and phone as SHA-256 hashes, your IP address, your browser’s user agent, and the Meta cookie values _fbp and _fbc when they are present. We do not put the Conversions API token in the page.

Other information we process.

The careers form stores your name, email, phone, college or course, portfolio link, note, and resume so we can review the application and reply. The contact form stores the details you submit so we can respond.

We also use QLYX analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Those tools can receive pages you visit and how you interact with them.
